TERMS & POLICIES

  • Privacy is important. All shared information, including medical history, will be kept confidential.

  • Clients are draped with a sheet or towel. Please dress or undress to whatever degree you feel comfortable. Some sessions may be better served with no covering and client wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

  • We do not make medical claims. Clients will be referred to a medical professional for any physical issues that are beyond our scope of practice. If you are injured you must see your physician.

  • As a general rule we ask that we respect each other’s time and follow a 24 hour cancellation policy.  

  • All sessions are by appointment only. We will do our best to accommodate emergencies and short notice situations.

  • If the client experiences any pain or discomfort during the session, she/he will immediately communicate with the therapist so pressure or techniques may be adjusted.

  • Myokinetic Massage Therapy reserves the right to change any policies or prices at their discretion or as necessary for business purposes.

  • We encourage you to shower and dry off before your session.  

  • Payments may be made with cash, credit card, Pay Pal or Venmo.

  • We accept NYSHIP which is part of The Empire Plan for insurance purposes.   We accept FSA (Flexible Spending Account) payments.   Unfortunately, we can not accept other types of insurances at this time in New York State.

  • Packages are not refundable.  You may transfer the credits from a package to a friend or family member if you no longer wish to continue sessions.

  • Packages expire one year from date of purchase.
